DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT Zeph does not collect, record, store, or transmit your voice, audio, microphone input, or speech transcripts to any server we operate.

VOICE PROCESSING All speech recognition is performed locally by the Google Web Speech API, built into Chrome. Audio is sent to Google's servers as part of Chrome's speech recognition service, governed by Google's own privacy policy. Zeph has no access to this audio.

DATA WE STORE LOCALLY Zeph stores the following in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), which never leaves your device:

• Your saved tab aliases (names, URLs, spoken phrases)
• Your settings (preferred languages, timeout, overlay preferences)
• Your license key, if you purchased Pro

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES If you purchase Pro, your license key is validated against LemonSqueezy's licensing API. No personal data beyond the license key is transmitted.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

• tabs: read the current tab's URL and title when saving aliases
• storage: save your aliases and settings locally
• scripting: inject the voice overlay into web pages
• activeTab: access the current tab when the hotkey is pressed
• notifications: show error messages on restricted pages
• host_permissions <all_urls>: required to inject the overlay on all sites
